The notion that consent to sex is consent to pregnancy or responsibility to give birth is ridiculous. First of all, consent to sex is very, very specific. If a woman allows a man to have sex with her, she consents to one particular man putting one specific body part inside a specific part of her body for a relatively limited time period.

That does not give consent to his friends, siblings, or born children the right to put any of their body parts inside that or any other part of her body, so why it should give consent to a zygote, blastocyst, embryo, or fetus, I have no idea.

It does not give consent to the man himself to put that body part in any other part of her body or to put any other body part in that or any other part of her body. It does not give consent to the man himself to keep that body part inside that part of her body for more than a relatively limited time period or to repeat the act of putting the specific body part inside that part of her body later.

Each person has to get separate consent. Each putting of a specific body part inside a specific part of her body requires separate consent.

So even if a zygote were a person, it would have to get specific consent to be inside her sex organs, and if a blastocyst were a person, it would have to get specific consent to implant into her uterine wall.

And if the embryo or fetus did anything the woman did not like, she would have the right to tell it to get its body parts out of her body, just as she would have the right to tell the man to get his penis out of her vagina if it caused even the slightest pain or discomfort.

And if you do not like it that a woman has so much control over her internal body that she has the right to use deadly force if necessary to force the body parts of an embryo or fetus out of her sex organs and ask a doctor's help in doing so, then do not put your penis in her vagina in the first place.

the real reason to posses weapons, and not just knives or guns, is to defend our individual rights from tyranny. conversely, government is under no real obligation to protect the individual, and is held harmless in the event that they refuse or fail to 'protect and serve'.

I completely agree, this guy is amazing, needs a deal and to get his stuff out there, youve given him the first step i guess!

First off Craig thanks for the response. Always nice to know people are actually reading.

The car was clearly fan service and one of those things they hope you accept. I also don't think it's meant to be a line of continuity to the movies that came before.

In my opinion, here is why they went to Scotland. SIlva had proved up until that point that he would and could do whatever necessary to kill Bond and M, and that he had the resources and intelligence to succeed. But leading him to somewhere Bond could control in some way gave them a bit of an upper hand was his only option.

I really hope they don't reboot again, as what they've established with Craig's incarnation is great thus far and I think it can be carried on into the future easily and even expanded on. Hopefully not in a prequel form, but maybe highlighting the events that led the character to Casino Royale ala his training. I've always loved when they've humanized Bond and didn't focus on him as nothing more than a sex mongering super soldier (not that there is anything wrong with that lol) and this was really the pinnacle of those emotions.

Totally agree with your review, but I personally thought the last act of the film let it down. James Bond 007 was always a cover identity in the novels, and also gave artistic licence when a new Bond was introduced. he was simply the "new" 007. There was no real need to develop the childhood history of Bond other than to leave more questions. Where did he get the original car from? He's only been an agent for a few years. Why did he he choose to run all the way to Scotland on his own with M? Does he literally have no friends he can turn to, apart from a grumpy gameskeeper who hasn't seen him in years? The film itself was fantastic, but when Bond is recast a few films down the line, do they reboot again? Or is the continuity set up in these films somehow explained away as if its unimportant?

I read this blog with disbelief. Holly, you are either a stone cold liar or someone who is incredibly ignorant. First of all, let me say that Alexander Hamilton has not been executed. He is serving a death sentence for murdering my son. who was a California police officer killed in the line of duty. Hamilton and his codefendant Andrew Moffett robbed a Raley's grocery store and Wells Fargo Bank in Pittsburg, California on April 23, 2005. The 3 women they terrorized when they threatened to shoot them during the course of the robbery still bear the scars of the emotional trauma they suffered.
My son was ambushed during a foot pursuit of Hamilton and Moffett as Hamilton lay in wait hidden in dense folliage. . Hamilton shot my son twice. He then attempted to shoot two of my son's best friends and fellow officers as they tried to render medical aid to my dying son. I heard Hamilton on tape laughing about murdering my son and trying to kill the other officers. My son was an awesome guy who served his country as a Marine Captain. He was killed protecting his community as a police officer. He was an organ donor who saved five lives. To read this gargage you posted has literally made me want to throw up. And for all you readers who bought this pack of lies, do some research before you blindly agree with some blogger. Holly Simpson, thy name is Ms. Deception. Save your empathy for people that deserve it, the victims of crime and not the perpetrators.

it so hurts to think children are missing out on the adulthood they should of, would of experienced, due to a society that, is so lost in them selves, they don't see the pain surrounding them, in children an adults alike....
there are so many like me, an you it seems, who wish they could heal the sadness in the world, an we can bit by bit,
by spreading love, support, compassion an empathy, all tools we are each blessed with, an costs absolutely nothing, but a smile an a good will gesture...
the amazing thing about these tools we are provided with, is they do not exclude by race, colour, creed, financial status, gender, sexual orientation, age, iQ etc ...
we each posses them, only some ppl don't have the confidence to speak up, threw fear of what ppl may think, or maybe not fitting in,
an this is a part of the problem for some ppl ....
but still,... there are an will always be ppl, who do have the confidence to go against the grain, an surprisingly,... may even realize, they are not as alone in how they feel as they think or thought ....
you keep doing what ya doing,...
follow ya hart,
each person who speaks out, makes it easier for the next person to speak out, making the network of ppl who care bigger an stronger,
until the divided dream of us who care, being the visible majority, will over rule an in fact be reality ....

there will always be hurt an pain in the world, we cant erase that,

this is impotent to know,

but at the same time, the human race has far more healers, then it gives its self credit for.....

I doubt the laws will ever properly change. But they need to think about the kids more. Being the mum and carrying the child, should not give you automatic rights. I know some great dads and they deserve to be treated as such and not be put aside. So many woman use their kids as weapons and it's not on.

Best wishes! It is total crap anyone with half a brain can see that you do care and have a good head on your shoulders. I am watching my friend go through the same thing. She is a grandma fighting for custody and it is proving just as hard even though the child had known only her since birth and both the parents are not fit to be.

While I agree with you about the speculations, I think that saying no suicide should be publicized is wrong. Amanda Todd's case (though very sad) is no more important than other teenagers who committed suicide as a result of bullying, they are all equally sad and important. However, one case needs to be publicized and personalized so that when people hear of these issues and have to deal with them (such as suicide statistics), they think 'oh, like that Amanda Todd, that was such a sad story' instead of just looking at them as facts and figures - pure, emotionless, statistics.

So basically, there needs to be at least one case that's famous, besides, in all fairness she did upload a youtube video, if she wanted it to be cast aside like all of the others then she wouldn't have given the reporters something to start a media frenzy over.
